Meet the Young Family! Adam and Amanda have been married for 16 years and have 6 beautiful children: Madison, Tyler, Hadley, Avery, Austin and Tucker. They love spending time together playing games and exploring the outdoors! They have a tradition of going to an assisted living every Christmas and singing Christmas carols to the residents! It is one of their favorite traditions. When appropriate, Adam will often bring his children around with him as he makes visits to the homes of their clients. Seeing the smiles and feeling the pure love and joy in the room is what makes everything worth it!

Adam founded Like Family Home Care in 2019 with a mission to provide compassionate, reliable support to seniors and their families. Since then, he has helped over 400 families find peace of mind through quality in-home care. Adam plays a hands-on role in the company by conducting in-home assessments, creating personalized care plans, and collaborating with his team to ensure each client is matched with the right caregivers.
A graduate of Brigham Young University, Adam is deeply committed to faith, family, and service. He and his wife are raising six children, and—fun fact—he’s an identical twin.
Amber Briongos
Director of Operations
Amber Briongos has been a key part of Like Family Home Care since August 2023. Before joining our team, Amber successfully owned and operated a group home for three years, giving her extensive experience in senior care and daily operations. At LFHC, she plays a vital role in scheduling, caregiver support, and communication—you’ve likely spoken with her if you’ve called or texted our office! Amber is known for her responsiveness, organization, and dedication to ensuring every client and caregiver feels supported.
Amber is happily married to her husband Joe, a full-time firefighter. Together, they share their home with their two beloved dogs—Diesel the German Shepherd and Luna the Husky—and their twin boys, Asher and Noah, who have brought even more joy and excitement to their family.
Tanya Mahler
Recruiter/Assistant Scheduler
Tanya Mahler joined Like Family Home Care in 2025, bringing energy, heart, and years of experience working with seniors. As our recruiter and assistant scheduler, Tanya is dedicated to finding and hiring the best caregivers in the valley. She spends her days carefully reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and helping ensure each client is matched with compassionate, capable support. Tanya also assists across multiple areas of the office, with a special focus on organizing caregiver schedules.
With a background as an activity director in assisted living for five years and certification as a personal trainer, Tanya brings a unique combination of wellness and senior care expertise. She loves being part of the LFHC family and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of both clients and caregivers.
Outside of work, Tanya enjoys time with her five children and eight grandchildren, who are the joy of her life.
